I have now registered with ntlworld and installed a cablemodem. I'll eventually switch the hchalkley.com email and website to be hosted on ntlworld, and close the cix account - I haven't really been using the cix conferencing facility much over the last few months, and I'd rather spend the money on an ISP that provides a permanent 128k connection.
